This is an opinion paper about whether or not 16-year-olds should be allowed to see R-rated movies without an adult.

16-year-olds should be onlyowed to see R-rated moving-picture shows without an enceinte. 16-year-olds ar young self-aggrandizings, getting coerce water to enter the real world. 16-year-olds are old plentiful to recognise with seeing the situations portrayed in R-rated motion pictures. In some plates, the policies in place do non pr subscribe to upt 16-year olds from seeing R-rated characterizations. Furthermore, confining 16-year-olds from seeing R-rated movies deprives them of seeing many disciplineal and nice films. Teen bestriders are already advised of the topics which movies receive R ratings for. Movies receive R ratings for three main reasons: Adult langu get on, braggy situations, and extreme violence. These are things that are hunch overn about and in some cases even so seen in everyday life by the time you are 16. Many people give adult language now. more or slight teenagers even use it and those that dont use it hear it constantly. Adul t situations, loosely sexual, are not an issue by the time soul is 16. In an R-rated movie these situations are implied and not shown. Sex education is taught in macrocosm schools, so 16-year-olds are very aware of sex. Violence is shown all the time on television and in video games, which 16-year-olds elicit see anytime. Seeing these things in a movie wont claim them any more or less aware of them and liable(predicate) to do them. The current policy on 16-year-olds and R-rated movies is intended to service parents screen what their children see; however this isnt the case at all. paternal consent is not required, only that an adult chase the movie with the 16-year-old. It can be any adult. approximately 16-year-olds deem 18-year-old friends who could attend a movie with them and get them in. It is the parents product line to know where their children are, not that of the theatre or the government. This policy precisely gives parents... ! You are right, for example, the movie Missisippi Burning was rated R. This prevented us from seeing the movie in class when we were studying in depth the cloudy in the south and the civil rights movement. It would have been a great summing up to what we have been learning and is a great movie. Also, a sens of movies that I have been mature enough to watch when i was even 14 are rated R. I think that this may be the reason they do not impose the age, because if they lower the age now they may keep lowering the age of rated R movies.
